Logans Run and all that, I turned 30 yesterday.....

Yesterday was my 30th birthday! Does this mean that I now have to be an adult? Hell no! :) hehe

Last weekend Geffy and Andrew came over to visit, and we managed to have a good weekend around Dublin, the pictures are all on the site here and here.

This weekend, Laura managed to arrange to get some friends, my brother and my cousin over for a suprise visit, without my knowing, apparently they had been planning it for ages! And what a fantastic surprise it was!!

We spent Friday night at the Porterhouse in temple bar, which is a really good pub - on 4 floors in what I imagine to be a traditional Irish pub style.

Saturday morning we headed over to Smithfields ice rink which has been temporarily set-up for Christmas, it was OK after I'd changed my boots 4 times to get a pair that weren't blunt! But I wouldn't recommend going unless you have your own boots, I've never seen so many people falling over on the ice!

On Saturday night we went to our local watering hole the dropping well for dinner and drinks, which ended up with us all drinking a little too much wine!
