Started at last

Monday was my first day in my job as a (Computer Forensics) Consultant for a company called Protiviti in Regent St.

It's quite cool to get back into work after a gap of 3 years at uni, but I couldn't help think that something quite special had ended, however, it had been replaced by the next exiting adventure!

I was suprised to recieve within hours of starting; a laptop (IBM thinkpad T60), a mobile phone (Nokia 62??i) and a promise of business cards and company credit card within a few weeks!

My first week will be a hectic one. Today was day 2, and it was spent mostly preparing for the IIA conference(pdf) on Thursday and Friday that I will be helping out with (along with the other guy who started in the same job on Monday too).

Our 'job' is to help delegates(?) with the racing games ((shuttle PC + giant plasma screen) * 2 with force feedback type steering wheels and pedals) we will be hosting on our stand, in a bid to improve Protiviti's contact network (and get some business).

This, i'm sure will be an exhausting week, but will be good fun at the same time. :)
